This tutorial will show you how to draw Maggie Simpson from the Simpsons TV cartoon. Maggie is one of my favorite characters from the series. She does not say much, but do not count her out. Maggie is one of the smartest characters on the show. She would give you a run for your money any day.
Alright, well enough talk, let's get started with our tutorial on how to draw Maggie Simpson. Get your pencils, paper and erasers ready, let's get started with drawing Maggie.
This tutorial is going to start off much like our Lisa Simpson tutorial by first drawing Maggie's head using a lot of different circle sizes. Start with a smaller circle and then place two smaller circles in that for the eyes. Then, draw a much larger circle around that. This is going to help us down the road when we go to draw Maggie's hair.
To draw Maggie's body, we are going to use a series of enlongated curves. Start from the head and draw her back. Then in front of that draw another line with a bump in it. Then connect those two with a circular curve at the bottom. Do not forget the small curve for Maggie's arm.
We are going to add Maggie's hair using many "V" shapes that stay within the lines of our larger circle we drew earlier. Add a "C" shape for her ear and a "U" shape for her nose. Trace out her other arm and hand, and add a pacifier in her mouth use a couple "U" shapes and a almost closed circle.
We are ging to add a bow to Maggie's hair using a rectangle with some triangular shapes coming out of each side. Add three curves for eyes lashes above each eye. Add some curves to finish off Maggie's clothes and give them a flowing look. You can also add a couple of curves to the insides of her ear to give it a little more detail.
That's it! We have finished our drawing of Maggie Simpson. Now it's time to clean up our guide lines. If you have a pen, trace the final drawing with ink, and after, erase your pencil marks. Then it's time to finish up the drawing with some color.
